Carrie Breinholt is a Mission-based, urban photographer who uses color and composition to create limitless artistic possibilities out of objects often overlooked in everyday life.
She finds inspiration in the diversity of San Francisco and uses it’s neighborhoods as her playground to explore themes of joy, love and community.
Capturing the authenticity of the moment is paramount to Carrie. Her photos are often taken in one shot and as found, allowing any natural flaws to add character and honesty to the piece.
An astute observer, Carrie has recently begun exploring how photography can be used to intuit and interpret the patterns in our lives.
